Expo Milano 2015 from the 1st to the 7th of June dedicated the “Orgoglio Italia” week to our Country, celebrating the Italian National Republic Day with a big parade, in which Creativi Digitali with the brand Flash Mob Milano played the role of coordinator of participants and mass choreographies.

The Italian Pavilion committed the event production to the Music Consulting Company Milano Music Consulting, which contacted us for the scene and mass choreographies management: a choice driven by the great knowledge of the brand in the field of on street events gained during the years, thanks to the planning, management and realization of more than 40 events between flash mob, musical, unconventional action and show.

Under the guidelines of the director Marco Boarino, the team of Flash Mob Milano consisted of 30 members, among which 5 staff members and 25 trainers, has worked starting from 8:00am, dealing with the pre-event logistics, distribution of the materials to the participants and coordination of mass choreographies, performed by a group composed by 600 people, in representation of the public, private and regional crews, and of the volunteers who worked together for the realization of Expo Milano 2015.

Leading the parade, the scene director Daniele Giudici and the choreographer Cristina Usai went through the Decumanus until the Lake Arena, in front of the Tree of Life, followed up by the Institutions, among which Giuseppe Sala (Chief Government Delegate to Expo Milano 2015), Maurizio Martina (Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry) and Diana Bracco (General Commissioner of the Italian Pavilion).

The moments dedicated to the Italian national flag went along all day with the participation of the Italian National Youth Choir that shown off during the morning in the Italian Pavilion, the marching band P-Funking Band from Perugia, which opened the parade playing funky music cheering the event already spectacular thanks to the thousands of red, white and green opened umbrellas, the Italian Flag Wavers National Team that performed in Piazza Italia; moreover, it was essential the help of 90 volunteers of the National Community Service and 160 volunteers of Expo.

A special thanks to Carlotta Caldieri, Daniela Tonelli, Francesca Lambertucci, Chiara Poletti (for the coordination of the Community Service) and to Mercedes Lucchini (for the coordination of the Expo Volunteers).

The “Orgoglio Italia” parade was broadcasted in real time by the cameramen of Rai News 24, and aroused the interest of local and national mass media; the official articles were published on newspaper as, for example: Milano Repubblica, Milano Corriere, La Stampa, Il Giorno and Milano Weekend.
